This is Jake, a former racing greyhound, who lives in San Francisco with his "dad", Dana. People who know them call greyhounds "35-mile-per-hour coach potatoes"...because they are so mellow and relaxed, unless they see something they want to chase! From what Dana has told me Jake is no exception. I painted the blue sky background -- which reminds me of the God-light in some of the Biblical epic movies -- to emphasis jake's very regal bearing.
