This is Brandy, a beautiful apricot miniature poodle. He looks like a puppy, but he's 8 years old.

I painted this for Brandy's parents, Flori and Ted. Recently they have each had surgery and are not yet strong enough to care for their beloved dog, so Dan and I have been taking care of him.

The portrait is a poor substitute for the real Brandy, but it has given them some comfort and is a reminder of what a sweet boy he is.
